We are continually being asked why we no longer produce our surfwax.
The reason is a change in postal rates in Jersey meant the cost of posting a pot of wax increased from 34p to £1.19 overnight, which meant our wax would have to sell for around £3 a block, which is uncompetative. We are working on new products and looking to move production of the wax away from Jersey (it would be cheaper for us to post it from Australia to the UK than it is to post it from Jersey to the UK).
